Banja Umodzi ("One Family") is a humanitarian and charitable organization based in Blantyre, Malawi.

We are dedicated to alleviating suffering and empowering people.

 

Our mission is centered on three primary ideas: RELIEVE, REVIVE, RENEW.

 

We aim to RELIEVE communities from challenges faced during natural and man-made disasters. This includes providing emergency relief and housing to impacted communities.

We endeavor to REVIVE those communities, and others, in the aftermath of disaster. Our mission is to not simply invest in the moment of tragedy, but in the painstaking process of putting the pieces back together.

We strive to RENEW communities by investing in their future. This starts with children, in particular, supporting orphans and promoting girls' education.
